What is Choice?

Firstly, the choice is not cognitive.

Choice is a bit like breathing, your breathing, right? Can you breathe by being present to what's going on, or let your body do it?

So we can breathe cognitively or not, and most of the time we do it on autopilot, which is why the same thing happens over and over again. If choice is like breathing, then it's cognitive and on autopilot?

  • But what about your choice when you rely on others to determine the choices available to you, the right choices of course?
  • What if you had choices that others don't, and that go far beyond what others can do?

What most of us like to do is make THE choice that will determine the rest of our lives. We think we should choose only the right things, not the wrong things. But this requires a lot of self-judgment.

What if there was no judgment such as, "Oh, that's a good thing" or "Oh, that's a bad thing"?

What if there was just, "Wow, I made this choice, and if it works well, I choose more of that. If it doesn't work anymore or not.....I can make another choice!".

I suggest you discover another way of choosing what's true for you and what will work for you. And sometimes it can be cognitive, but most of the time, you'll discover that it's energetic, faster and more effective.
